Telc Deutsch A1 Exam Format or Structure
The exam includes a written and an oral part. The written exam lasts 65 minutes. The oral exam usually takes place straight after the written exam, without any preparation time.

• Oral examination – 11 Minutes
Telc Deutsch A2 Exam Format or Structure
The exam has a written and an oral part. The written exam lasts 2 hours and 20 minutes. Before the oral exam, you have 20 minutes of preparation time. The oral exam can take place on the day of the written exam or on another day.

Listening Comprehension – 20 Minutes
Reading Comprehension language elements ( vocabulary and grammar ) – 90 minutes
Writing – 30 minutes
• Oral examination – 15 Minutes
Telc Deutsch B1 Exam Format or Structure
The exam is composed of a written and an oral part. The written exam lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes. Before the oral exam, you have 20 minutes of preparation time. The oral exam can take place on the day of the written exam or on another day.

Listening Comprehension – 30 Minutes
Reading Comprehension language elements ( vocabulary and grammer ) – 90 minutes
Writing – 30 minutes

Telc Deutsch B2 Exam Format or Structure
• Written examination
Reading (90 min): reading for gist / reading for detail / selective reading
Language elements (20 min): Multiple choice test/ cloze test
Listening (approx. 20 min): listening for gist, listening for detail, and selective listening.
Writing (30 min): writing a formal letter
• Oral examination
Presentation/discussion/task (25 min) including a conversation with two or three candidates.
